Orthocell’s GMP Facility

OrthoCell has completed construction of a A$1.5m state of the art GMP laboratory facility in which to develop and produce ATT and its biological reconstructive scaffold Cellgro. The OrthoCell GMP facility is housed on the grounds of Murdoch University Western Australia and consists of 2 GMP clean rooms and associated quality control laboratory space. These facilities will manufacture product under an initial pilot program to support clinical trials with the capability to scale up production for commercial sales supporting Australia and South East Asia.

The facility also caters for the training of new staff via its dedicated training room designed to simulate the clean room environment. The OrthoCell facility is currently equipped for the delivery of cellular therapies.
